My first solo exhibition (Part 3)

This art piece is based on the printing plate used for the printing. Please take a look at the video.

The reason for this is this.
I love Ghost in the Shell and the theme of this piece is exactly Motoko Kusanagi.
Her body is mass-produced. However, her content (ghost) is an original entity.
Her body is mass-produced, but her existence is one-of-a-kind.

This printing plate was actually used to print the free paper I made for my solo exhibition.
The free paper was produced in large quantities (500 copies).
However, the only printing plate taken off the printing press is the one used for this art piece.
The existence of this printing plate is the only original one included in the mass production.
It exactly overlapped with the image of Motoko Kusanagi.

Therefore, the pattern in the background of this printing plate is the very content of my free paper, and I superimposed the picture of the process of manufacturing the cyborg body on it.
This work is the embodiment of my love for Ghost in the Shell.
I hope that this work will be passed on to an owner who loves Ghost in the Shell.
